Aya, Gemmayze, Beirut, Lebanon, 2022 – SOLD OUT

Rianna, Chartoun, Lebanon, 2022 – SOLD OUT

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea for humanitarian aid.

The situation in Lebanon is devastating. As of today, over 2,000 lives have been lost, more than 10,000 people are injured, and 1.2 million have been displaced in a country of only 5 million. Many of these displaced individuals are now living on the streets, and the humanitarian crisis is dire. Thankfully, our immediate families are safe for now, although they are deeply traumatized. Lebanon is such a small country that everyone is feeling the impact of this tragedy.

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of photographing women from various parts of Lebanon. For those familiar with my work, some of the women whose faces and stories you have come to know through my images are now homeless. The reality is heartbreaking. Yet, in the face of this adversity, some of the more fortunate are now volunteering their time to provide food, blankets, housing, and other essential support.

To help provide immediate relief, I am partnering with Social & Economic Action for Lebanon (SEAL), a 501c3  Lebanese-American non-profit, non-political organization, in support of their recently launched Humanitarian Appeal. All funds raised will be directed to reputable local non-governmental organizations working on the ground to provide urgent assistance.

If you are able and willing to contribute $1,000 (or more), I will send you the photograph shown here as a token of gratitude. This photograph is offered as a gift for your generosity, making your contribution 100% tax-deductible, with all proceeds going directly to those in need. This offer is limited to 30 images. However, you can also choose to donate any other amount in support of this campaign and receive a tax exemption for your donation, though it will not include the photograph.

Thank you for your compassion and support during this critical time.

Thanks to the generosity of so many, both prints have sold out.
